据统计，本赛季各项赛事中，20岁的维尔茨已经为勒沃库森直接参与了35粒进球（17球、18助攻），是五大联赛所有U21球员中最多的。

2020年，勒沃库森青训花费20万欧元引进维尔茨，目前球员的德转身价估值已经高达1.1亿欧。根据此前多家媒体的报道，皇马、曼城和拜仁在内的多家豪门都在关注维尔茨。
